Our Skills department aims to enhance the Northwest media workforce, supporting individuals and companies throughout the region with our unique training solutions, which include industry placements, workshops, mentorship and support for training courses.
You are a New Entrant if you
have less than 12 months working experience in the media.
You qualify as a Freelancer if you
have more than 12 months working experience in the media
industry.
You qualify as a Business if you
run, or work for, a business based in the Northwest.

These activities are funded by the Skillset TV Freelance
Fund and the Digital and Media Skills Programme, delivered by
Northwest Vision and Media in partnership with Skillset, and
supported by the North West Development Agency.
